I’d never heard of an Azawakh, or ‘African greyhound’ as my contact called her. So it was interesting to read up on wikipaedia about the breed.
Samia is sadly looking for another home, through no fault of her own. She is 6 years old, a beautiful copper colour, and very slender. She has been with her present owners since they bought her from the breeder when she was 3 years old.
She hasn’t had contact with cats, but apparently slept with one when young. Also had very little contact with children, but no problems when there was.
She is rather territorial, which is part of the make-up of the breed, but not atall aggressive.
The lady of the couple who own her has a terminal illness and will never return home, and the husband is moving into an appartment shortly.
They are desperate to find a new home for her. She is in France.
