Although he’s not a galgo, I’m including the story of Hallo, as he has been saved by a friend of Marisa’s.
Marisa continues his story.
Hallo is a really difficult case in Spain. He was found by a friend of mine in the centre of Seville last Halloween, jumping above the cars in a really big avenue.
She got him into the car and went home. Hallo was really frightened. The days passed and Hallo never lost the fear.
He cannot go in to the street, he is continuously fearful, every tree leaf, plastic bag, car, person, cat or dog makes him feel terror.
My friend lives in a flat and has to take him for a walk several times a day. But he doesn’t enjoy anything. Only when Hallo can stay in a garden he starts to run fast.
Hallo doesn’t know how to play, he´s never played in two years!!! Vets think he must have been jailed all his life in a dark place
My friend´s flat is not hers and in the contract the owner says she cannot have animals. But Hallo cannot go to the refuge, he would go all this walk back.
Hallo needs a good family with other dogs, or cats, and lovely people with a big garden to run fast and recover all the trust he has lost.
