SOS from Spain – this time from Seville

Galgo pups rescueThis story has come in from Caroline at elregufioescuela:

Yesterday in the afternoon a colleague of mine was in the house of a lady who has 40 dogs. She cannot take any more.

We are worried about these 5 babies. They are 4 months old and live in a kennel in very very poor conditions. One has a very bloody paw because the bigger ones pick on it.

We urgently need foster homes, since this lady is desperate and what she wants is to just get rid, we are terrified that she will give them to whoever. Some crazy person can easily get their hands on one of these galgos.

The thing is to have the dogs controlled through foster care and we won’t stop then to look for adoptants. Once they are secure, we can look calmly for good families.

Galgo pups rescue What is urgent is getting them out of there. Also what can happen is we can get them adopted now but then when we go to collect them they have already been given away by this lady. Disaster for the dog, and for the adoptant.

Here we have lots of volunteers who rescue in one go, we are full totally to the brim, in our homes, in residencies, in refuges, and we cant take in any more.

We have many many photos, please contact me or Sandra, if you know of anyone who can help us. Thanks very much.
