  • Galgo Jamal – saved from death’s door with Fundacion Benjamin Mehnert

Galgo JAMAL arrived severely beaten and on death’s door. His condition was guarded and everyone at @fundacionbenjaminmehnert held their breath while they took his soul in their hands. Jamal was just a puppy. He had sustained injuries you never want to know let alone see. His road to recovery was guarded.

See his journey from his arrival day to now. He is nothing short of a triumph against the very worst of mankind. He also shows you the very best of mankind, because had he not been taken in by FBM, he would not be here today.

Jamal has had a long journey but he has never given up and nor have we on him.

Please, this is becoming urgent. Duna and Rafi, our bonded seniors as well as other seniors are desperate to get out of the intense heat. Heat makes shelter life even harder for them and puts all sort of strain on their bodies.

We have space available on transport in July and August and we want as many seniors on it as possible. But we cannot take them without your help!

You know the tragic stories of Marifel and Magdalena, how it was too late for them. We cannot let that happen again without fighting to save these seniors.

  • Galgo Bono with Galgos 112 – hoping for a forever home

    From Galgos 112

Hi I’m Bono! I’m one and a half years old and they say I’m very friendly and loving. Still hard to believe what happened to me. I lived with my other galgo friends, we shared games and food in a pen. Every once in a while our owner would take us for a run in the middle of the olives, he would get very pleased if we chased the rabbits.

But one day, when I saw him coming to the pen, I thought it was time to go out to chase rabbits, as always I climbed a jump into the trunk of the car but it took longer to arrive than usual, my owner stopped the engine, as other times he opened the trunk and I jumped outside, but that day there was something strange, my owner, without looking at me, got back in the car, started and left leaving me there alone. I didn’t understand anything.

  • Galgos 112 – Foster or Adoption for Galga Mariela

    Mariella 5 2025 350
    From Galgos 112

This preciousness with so much sadness in her gaze, came to us to the limit of her strength, pregnant and exhausted. The next day, feeling safe, she gave birth to her 4 dead babies due to the misery and lack of care she has suffered. She’s been under treatment for the infection and is already recovering.

You have to take that sad look out of her, she must know love, life full of care and happiness.

We ask for foster or adoption for her, she is sweet, calm and when you pamper her she thanks them not moving from your side.

If you can help her, write with your address and phone number (essential) to info@galgos112.com

    Thank you very much.
