The local hunters society had registered numerous partners in the autonomous register without their consent and without their knowledge of their inclusion; some of the registered partners had even passed away for several years. The fact said that there was a possible irregular economic benefit of the social quota, which actually operated as a private quota.
Several groups of hunters from other provinces were also identified, who brought allegedly valid permits issued by the local hunting society. However, the agents checked that the permits lacked legal validity, since the holders were not part of such society, making this an indispensable requirement to exercise hunting in a social quota.
Also, with the collaboration of agents of the Civil Guard Post of Sierra de Fuentes (Caceres), they found that certain kinetic activities were being developed in a limited hunting area, where the autonomous regulations expressly prohibit the practiced modality (hunting of storks from a fixed position), which the investigation entailed of six people for allegedly committing a hunting crime.
