Here is a nice story about a galga and her puppies – after two days of hard work and a long wait this family have been rescued. The pups were the first to be rescued, they are two females, Margarita and AlegrÃa, and three males, Wolf, Flip and Taz. They’re small, about 2 or 3 months, and moderate size, have every appearance of galgos but with an abandoned galga mom, one can never be sure. The mom hasbeen called Mami; in order to catch her, one of the puppies was used as a decoy, to persuade her to follow the volunteers through streets in the city until they could catch her.
She is a beautiful young dog, large size, white with black spots, has a lot of fear but wants to be loving. The family are now safe, but El Arca de Noe has nowhere to put them, can anyone help? If you can help write to elarcadenoecordoba@gmail.com
