If anyone is willing to organise a Galgo/Podenco publicity stand, please get in touch, maybe we can put volunteers in touch with each other through Galgo News and Podenco Post. The Galgos and Podencos need you to help.

    ‘We’ve been really busy working on the DDAWatch/Company of Animals ‘No Voice No Choice’ event coming up on August 6th in Surrey. I thought I’d better catch up with you all and invite you to have a stall (rescue and good causes can book a place for free) and if you can’t hold a stall on the day you’re most welcome to attend with or without your dogs, it’s also free entry to the public with plenty of car parking.

  • Voice for the Voiceless – Galga Savia – please help the animals

    Arca de No Savi_6 04 2011 190 This is Savia – she is blind! She was found by a Spanish girl and was living in a field near to the old mineworks on the outskirts of Mazarron. Noah’s Arc went to the field where they eventually found SAVIA laying in the sun. When they got near her she
    immediately got up and they could see that she had cataracts on both eyes.
    Unfortunately when they tried to put a collar and lead on her she took flight. One hour later they managed to catch her.

  • El Camino Walk – summer holiday in Spain for a week, help the animals

    El Camino 01 2011 200 URGENT, we are still looking for people who want to join us on our trip to Santiago de Compostela with and for the animals. Everybody who loves animals, likes walking and wants to join us is welcome. You can come with your dog, donkey, horse or any other animal capable to walk an average of 24 km a day.

    We can offer you a special 20% discount if you register and pay before the end of the month, so your weekly contribution would be only 336€ including accommodation and food. Please be aware that we cannot do anymore, it is extremely expensive to organize this trip, including transport for animals, support vehicles, etc.

  • Holiday in Spain 2011? Walk with and for the animals on El Camino

You can spend just one week on the walk, or longer, even the whole 6 weeks if you are fit! I publicised the previous walk, which was just with the dogs, this time they are taking horses and donkeys.
