Update: We have received the following from the good people who have rescued the animals in the abandoned shelter..
“At the moment we have succeeded in placing 6 dogs although many are still in the compound, you can see them in the photo gallery. The rest escaped through a hole that they made in the fencing and we are trying to rescue them. We can’t leave them there as it’s an area of invernaderos. We have already found one dead that they have killed? poisoned, shot, hunger? We don’t know but we suspect poison. We are already exhausted.
