    We have a court case against Carmen Marin Aguilar, director of the shelter. She is accused by SEPRONA(part of the Guardia Civil), Malaga, of mal-treating animals and putting to sleep 2183 animals in 2 years, causing them a slow and agonising death…

  • Operation Rehala, Bullas, Murcia – please help the podencos too

    Los Perros de Bullas – Today (8th March 2012) it has been agreed with much teamwork from The Little Pod Foundation, SOS Animals UK, the Animal Welfare Support Murcia group and Podenco Friends to find temporary care and rescue for some of the misfortunate Podencos in the Bullas tragedy. If the rescue is successful, it is hoped that between 8 and 10 dogs will be saved, plus any puppies that are still there. Friday 9th March 2012 is the ONLY day now permitted to rescue any of these dogs.
