Two galgos looking for forever homes.
Yanis was found in Toledo, she is about 18 months old.
She is very intelligent and caring, good with cats, adores children especially sm all children.
Good in the car, housetrained, sterilised, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and her blood analysis is negative.
Email: adopciones@degalgos.org
And the second is this beautiful galgo belonging to a lady who has lost her home, and has to give away her three dogs.
If you can help, contact Nancy at degalgos.org (updated)

Hi,
I´m interested in adopting the grey coloured beautiful galgo at “Needing Forever Homes” sites.
I´d like to get some more information about it but the link addressed to:equndamanos.es doesn´t work.
I´m living in Finland and familiar with sighthound breed.
I´d prefer a young male dog.

Hi
Thank you for your post, and for reading Galgo News. As you say, the link to equandamanos is to a website, so I have asked my Spanish contact who sent me the information if she can give me more details.
So far as adopting a galgo in Finland, I have forwarded your contact details to a couple of people in Denmark who deal with rehoming galgos from Spain, to see if they can help you. I will also research if there are any organisations in Finland.
How wonderful of you to offer to rehome one of these fantastic dogs who so deserve to have a decent life.
Thank you again for reading Galgo News. I’ll let you know as soon as I find out more.
Regards

Hi again
You could contact http://www.galgos.dk – Foreningen Galgos – as a place to start. They are very helpful and have rehomed galgos from Spain to Denmark.
I will let you know what else I find out.

This information I have just found on BaasGalgo website.
Hello to everybody.
My name is Helena and I am from Finland.
I was visiting Spain two years ago with my friend and after that my life has changed.
We decided to do something for the Spanish stray dogs.
We founded an organization Kdittomat Espanjan Koirat and now after two years we have found homes for over 700 dogs!
Galgos have stolen my heart totally. I do not understand how Spanish hunters can treat their loyal and faithful friends so cruelly…that is something which goes beyond my understanding.
I have decided to fight for these wonderful dogs and I hope that someday
I will see that galgos are respected family members in Spain.
Meanwhile I have to save as many as I can….

Also, a lady called Pia Ogilvie, in Denmark, has just returned from Madrid with a galga and her puppies and will be rehoming the puppies. I have given her your email address and she will be in contact with you.
