The latest news on Luz, the beautiful white galga who was eventually caught after she had been in a really serious road accident, is that she has had to have one hind leg completely amputated, and the front leg is pinned, and these will be removed in 6 months.
This poor dog was wandering the streets for weeks, why was she left, why was a tranquillised dart not used on her, when she still had four whole legs?
She is pictured here with the vet who is treating her and looking after her.
Her veterinary care has been funded by a German association who will foster and rehome her. You can read more about it on http://www.tiervermittlung.org/Suche_Zuhause/Huendinnen2/Huendinne3/Luz/luz.html
