Levriers in Danger are appealing for medicines and coats for the refuges in Spain.
They would also like help from anyone who can help with transporting galgos and podencos from Spain to France.
Medicines required include bedding, sterilzed bandages, antibiotics, metacan-smecta and other anti diaretics, disinfectant (betadine).
Also anti parasite products, particularly for flees and ticks, collers, croquette feed, Allopurinol, wormers, Scalibor collars to protect against sandly bites causing leishmania.
They are also asking for people to make dog coats to protect the thin-skinned galgos against the freezing Spanish winter temperatures.
