This galga is called MARIFLOR and was found in this pitiful condition in Linares.
The veterinarian has tried to save her leg, now he has fingers and legs crossed in the hope that it does not get infected.
If the wound does get infected, there will be no option but to amputate the leg.
PRO-GALGO association are arranging the foster of the galga away from Linares during her recovery as the galgos in Linares always get stolen. They are appealing for donations towards her veterinary care.

Why do these beautiful elegant loving creatures, who did not ask to be born, be forced to endure sickening and unnecessary injury, pain and terror all because of the heartless galguerros!
How do these amazing volunteers in Spain cope, winter after winter, year after year, with such appaling injuries, with the abandonment of so many tens of thousands of galgos?
I am just so full of admiration for these amazing volunteers.
