Although it is June now, there are still abandoned starving galgos loose on the streets of Spain, abandoned and cast out by the heartless galguerros at the end of January at the end of hunting. We have to all get together and DO something about this. However do the poor volunteers cope?
This is an appeal via my good friend Charl. Her contact has been notified of a galguita wandering around the town, food is chucked to her, but she is weak and scared. She needs rescuing before she becomes pregnant, but the4 vfolunteer has no room to take her, she is already paying out of her own pocket for veterinary care for others and fees for galgos in a perrera.
