This is a plea from Telma Shaw, in the USA, who does a tremendous amount for Galgos.
‘Hi Friends, Here are the pictures of Berto. He was rescued from one of the worse areas of Spain for hunting with galgos called Extremadura. He was in a killing station and Silvia our good friend in Valencia informed us of his fate, the next day, death.
Paula of Forever Home Greyhounds in NY will be bringing this sweet boy into her group along with possibly three others in the Spring. Anyway I just thought I would let you know as we now have a wonderful way to help Silvia Bordetas with the vetting and housing of the dogs she is rescuing before they have their chance of a lifetime. If you would like to help her, please do, every little bit helps! She so appreciates the help for the dogs. She is a lone rescuer with a huge heart and does everything in her power to help a few lucky ones.

Silvia has worked with us over the year to save a few lucky dogs from death and bring them to the US. Paquito, Caroline, Illusion, and Raji now we await Berto, Barajas, Beto and one that we still don’t know his name. He will be coming to her tomorrow from the killing station as well. A beautiful brindle boy.
I am asking for donations personally as this is not going through the GRIN organization, just trying to help a friend in need and some wonderful galgos in need.
