You may remember earlier in the year that Charl del Rio was trying to catch the galga Estepona. Sadly she did not succeed before the bitch disappeared. Charl was certain the bitch was pupping. Now 8 puppies have been found, some of them have been taken by ADANA shelter for rehoming, the others remain in the hope that the bitch will return and can be caught.
This is what Charl says. ‘photos from 3 galgo pups taken to ADANA from around the area where the gala was last seen. They are around 8 weeks old. Have to be hers, it’s perfect timing as to when she disappeared. Could use some help in finding them foster care or adoption……. these little ones deserve it. Am sure they are hers. Am waiting to see the exact location of where they were picked up incase there are more and the mama will be looking.’
Let’s hope the galga comes back and can be caught. Hunting starts in September and the gitanos will be looking for any loose galgos to take and sell to the hunters.

This story really gets to me. If only she knew she would not be harmed. Good luck with homing the puppies!
Would love to help with fostering but I am in the UK.

Bonjour
You need to contact ADANA direct, through the link on the post on Galgo News. If you click on About Us you will find email addresses of the people to contact.
Good Luck. Let us know what happens.

Why do you not go through a recognised adoption
society in Holland. I know that this is not the first time that you have
tried to adopt a dog which has been advertised on Galgo News, and you have been
turned down as unsuitable.
If you are not accepted by a recognised association
like Greyhounds Rescue Holland and others, then please do not apply via Galgo
News to adopt a dog.

Hi Erik
Just to say that you should not search Galgo News any more and apply to adopt a galgo from my website. Your reputation is spread amongst Western Europe galgo rescue associations and volunteers and you have been blacklisted, on past performance by the people who have refused to deal with you.
And I object strongly to you using Galgo News to try and adopt a galgo when you have been turned down by so many people, especially when you turn nasty against them.
