Malaga & Granada – stolen galgos and podencos

Stolen galgo Granada 400 13 1 2018
With the mass overbreeding of galgos and podencos together with the number abandoned and dumped in perreras, it’s strange to read about stolen hounds which have been recovered by the Guardia Civile. There have been two such posts on facebook of dogs recovered. Here’s the report about one group. This galgo is one over about 40 waiting to be reunited with their owners….who sadly are probably hunters!

‘We have received these photographs of numerous dogs, stolen in the provinces of Malaga and Granada, which were recovered by the Civil Guard after an operation they have carried out in recent months.

Now, they’re trying to locate the owners of the animals, many of them without a microchip, so they return them. If you think you know any of these perretes, please contact us by sending us your data:
