‘A family underground, a puppy with 5 legs and a mum thats been on the streets for years. A rescue that started Friday midday and finished sunday 1am, everyone exhausted.
A huge thanks again to Maria Jose HM and her husband as always for the relentlessness in catching these dogs, to Kenny who’s here from Scotland and was ready to get his hands dirty and covered in ticks and to Manuel who came and helped late last night as unfortunately I didn’t feel well and had to leave.
Must not forget to thank the on-site GDS team as without their dedication right now we could not take such an overflow of dogs, it’s a lot of hours everyday making sure they are all well and have all they need. It’s a huge amount of team work every time with something like this and we appreciate you all.
So it wasn’t easy and mum is very angry, we can’t get near her at the moment so she will have space for the few days before we start to bath the puppies etc. She is rumoured to have been on the streets for 6 years… she’s feeling sore and not sure what to make of it all.
It’s summer and once again endless calls about mum and pups. Please donate iof you can, we currently have 7 litters of pups that need your help!
