Network for Animals & Galgos del Sur – saving 32 Cordoba galgos
From Network for AnimalsThe shockingly cruel treatment of Spanish greyhounds (Galgos) must be stopped in Spain. Will you stand with us today?
The sport hunting industry is full of cruel practices and a callous disregard for animal welfare.
We offer a glimmer of hope and relief to these terrified, injured and stressed animals.
32 hunting dogs were rescued from a nightmarish existence in a decrepit farmhouse. Many others like them desperately need your help. Chained, starving, and wounded, they have endured unspeakable suffering in appalling conditions. We’re partnering with Galgos de Sur, a dedicated organization committed to confiscating, protecting, rehabilitating, and finding good forever homes for these abused hunting dogs. We are asking for your compassion today. Please support our crucial mission and help us end this disgraceful behaviour.

Probiotics and dogs
We recently returned from a few days away in our caravan and took the 2 podencos with us, for the first time. A week before Bo had asmall cancerous lump removed and had been on antibiotics which gave him diahorea, so a chicken and rice diet was prescribed. However, after returning home to familiar territory his poo is brown/yellow and gooey. Research on the Internet has resulted in the suggestion to add some probiotics to his diet.
This weblink explains about the use of probiotics.
Have any of you use probiotics and, if so, was it successful?

Galgos 112 – Adoption Fair a greyt success
Recap of the Adoption Fair held this past weekend.Despite the bad weather, it was an intense weekend, where what we would like to emphasize the most is the good work of the organization and the union of all the participating protectors.
There was a huge turnout of people as there were plenty of activities for both kids and adults. Dog walks were held as most of the participating protectors brought some doggies to introduce them.
But the moment of the afternoon was when the different associations came up to talk about their work and Rechy, with a very emotional speech, tore up more than a tear to the people gathered there.
Thank you all for coming, the visits we like so much and the organization for having counted on us. We are already preparing the next fair!
