Protectora Scooby Medina and the Halloween House of Horrors Rescue 2
More on the rehabilitation of the 9 galgos rescued from the House of Horrors
The 4 fearfuls will definitely need to go to an experienced family home or homes and the 5 should eventually settle into adoption with relative ease. However, at some level, they all have a degree of anxiety having been simply left alone without daily contact from humans or any carefully managed experiences of, or introductions to doggy life in the outside world. They have certainly all suffered from incarceration and are now showing signs of trepidation when it comes to forming social bonds. Their past has compromised their welfare and this is very clear in their reduced responsiveness to humans. (more…)

This sweet soul lives with a hunter. She has given her whole life: worked, obeyed, never complained. She endured humiliation, swallowed disappointment, and never understood why love for her had to be so scarce. (more…)

A friend of our veterinarian Montse de Linares, knowledgeable of the work we do in Galgos112, has contacted us because not the police of a town of Jaén (no matter which, since It’s the usual tonic) and no one listened to him to pick up this poor being, with one leg completely destroyed and another broken as well. Please be assured that there are ‘NO’ bad images in this film and all the dogs featured are ‘safe’ and waiting to be adopted. I think you’ll agree that the soundtrack is both beautiful and appropriate and the end message fitting.

Burgos perrera, white galgo on death row – Seville, Mama galga and 8 puppies, anyone help?
In Spanish history, the White Galgo was revered – it was second in importance only to the birth of a son. There was even a Royal Medal awarded to the white galgo. How they have fallen. This white beauty is in the Burgos perrera, awaiting a painful death. If you have room for him, please contact laura@adoptanos.com
http://adoptaenburgos.blogspot.com/
or Maribel maribeljerezsos2@gmail.com (and pray for the other dogs with him on death row)And this tale is all too often told, heartbreakingly sad for all the animals involved.

Almeria galga abandoned, anyone any room?
And yet another abandoned galga. Here’s the message just in.
‘Hello everybody, we’ve just been made aware of this case, it is a galga that is abandoned and lives lives badly in a house in ruins. For now we have food and water, but it would be necessary to find a foster home where she can recover little by little. She has a noble character, friendly and confident, not scared or running from people. Please, has anyone a little space for this galguilla for two or three weeks, please avisadnos, together we can change the future. Thank you very much for your attention. Regards.
