This is Vida (Life). And today, finally, her name makes perfect sense.
We were given the news of a heartbreaking situation: someone, without a minimum of empathy, left her hanging by one of her legs for an entire night. That’s how they found her the next morning, injured and abandoned to her fate.
Her paw is badly damaged. The vet has confirmed that it’s most likely that she’ll have to have it amputated, but we’re going to exhaust all options to try to save her. And if that’s not possible, we’ll do exactly what’s best for her, so she can run again without pain.
Vida got into the car without any problems and behaved like a true champion throughout the trip. She’s not panicking, she’s being prudent. She’s showing a bit of respect, but her eyes reflect a huge desire to trust. It’s pure nobility.
Yesterday she ended her nightmare. Today her new LIFE begins.
Will you help change her fate?
The costs of her tests, treatments, and possible surgery will be high. Any contribution, no matter how small, helps us cover her recovery:
