    I am Secretary of Happy Ending – Final Feliz in Cadiz, Spain. I am looking for some help. Yesterday I found 5 Galgos on public land in Conil de la frontera (out
    of sight from most people near a river). They are in a poor state and
    in a stinking”kennel” surrounded by shit and rubbish. Four in one and

  • Happy Endings-Final Felix Photo Competition – closing date 31st March 2012

    Happy Endings Chiclana 250Happy Ending-Final Feliz is an association near Chiclana, Cadiz, which was started by a Norwegian lady, Margarita, and her team of helpers regularly fundraise to help pay for the keep and care which their rescued dogs need. They are currently running a Photo Competition and you can find all the details on this link. Closing date for entries is 31st March, so get sorting through your dog photos and send your entries in. First prize, 100 euros!

  • Chiclana, Cadiz – Happy Ending/Final Feliz saving dogs

    Happy Endings Chiclana 250Happy Ending/Final Feliz is an animal rescue association near Chiclana, Cadiz. The association was created by Margarita, a Norwegian lady who keeps the rescued dogs in her own home, surviving on her pension and funds raised from car boot sales organised by her volunteer helpers. Earlier in the year, the association were threatened with court action as they were informed the land (used regularly by the public) was privately owned.

    However, life improved this year for Margarethe and the dogs. She tells the story.

  • Happy Ending Final Feliz – but not such a happy ending

    Story just received, illustrates some of the problems facing the volunteers who struggle to help the abandoned dogs of Spain.

    ‘For the last year we have been arranging car boot sales every Sunday in a place called El Marquesado, and successfully got an income for the animals that need help in our area. It has been very hard workload on all our volunteers, but they have done the job without complaining. This car boot sale has been held on what we thought was wasteland as this was an unfenced, abandoned area. We were unable to find out if anyone owned it.
