I have not updated on the situation for the dogs locked in a metal container in baking sunshine in Murcia because the ACTIN legal team asked for a blanket on the publicity. This ban has now been lifted and I can tell you that the ACTIN lawyers have been pushing through their case with the court. The legal team need paying, please Paypal donatons@actin-spain.com to donate to their fees…they do not charge for expenses etc.

ACTIN can now report on a case of severe maltreatment of galgos which they have been working on since august 2013. This is why they need your support, to pay their legal team fight such cases through the courts. The two galgos are now with 112carlotagalgos and they have sponsors. Charl has asked that any donations for them be sent direct to ACTIN to help them continue their work.

In August 2013, Actin was alerted to a case of 3 dogs being kept in horrendous conditions. It is hard to prove cruelty and neglect in Spain because of the lack of an animal protection act or an official organisation in Spain. Since Actin’s conception one of its aims is to prove how many cases like this exist and to find the right way to deal with it effectively.
