These two young galgos were saves from Linares, are now in Resur, but could still be killed if no one takes them. Baeza refuge is full, and the other problem is that if the galgos went there, then it is quite likely they would be stolen – it’s that time of year! Donna is grey and white, Dunne has injuries everywhere which need treating. Please can anyone help us save them. Contact animalesdebaeza@gmail.com

Murder in Linares, Jaen – write to your Spanish Embassy to protest
ArcoNatura Linares: “battered and burned in Linares, this galga was found on 25th April 2012… This is what people do with a galga in Linares (Jaén).” A harmless galga, battered and burned alive. Volunteers Arconatura llevabamos were trying to catch her, had a place for her, knew she was pregnant. They went in search of her to try and catch her and this is what they found. There was no trace of the puppies, babies cut from her and taken for who knows what.
This is the reality of Spain- we need the world to see how inhuman have people become!
The Spanish government keeps saying these things don’t happen any more(!) but in our experience they happen just as much as before mainly because of the general indifference of both the authorities and the citizens and also the lack of strong laws to protect the animals.
Please write to the Spanish embassy in your country, attach these photos and tell them you will not be visiting Spain until they protect the animals. Thank you. PACMA
