ArcoNatura Linares: “battered and burned in Linares, this galga was found on 25th April 2012… This is what people do with a galga in Linares (Jaén).” A harmless galga, battered and burned alive. Volunteers Arconatura llevabamos were trying to catch her, had a place for her, knew she was pregnant. They went in search of her to try and catch her and this is what they found. There was no trace of the puppies, babies cut from her and taken for who knows what.
This is the reality of Spain- we need the world to see how inhuman have people become!
The Spanish government keeps saying these things don’t happen any more(!) but in our experience they happen just as much as before mainly because of the general indifference of both the authorities and the citizens and also the lack of strong laws to protect the animals.
Please write to the Spanish embassy in your country, attach these photos and tell them you will not be visiting Spain until they protect the animals. Thank you. PACMA

This is a national disgrace for Spain. There is something very seriously wrong with a country that can do things like this in the 21st century. Whoever did this should hang their head in shame.
However, I firmly believe that justice will be done to them – either in this world, or the next……………..

i wrote a short letter in German including the picture and Spanish comments to the embassies but unfortunately the mail addresses in Germany don’t work. I will try to find out and send them again…
i have now wrote to the spanish consulate and spanish embassy in the uk it was a hand written letter
