This means two more expressive advances for animal protection, and the ONLY list for GALGOS.
.
◆ We are deeply grateful to Ricardo Izar, Weliton Prado and Frank Alarcón who accepted the anguished pleas for two greyhounds and greyhounds that are cruelly explored for greyhound hares at their speed to obtain a profit in money.
.
◆ I attached two days atuais no lutava for a law to prohibit barbarians advinced that you “donos de cães de corrida” chamavam de esporte for “athletes by nature”.
.
◆ They, you galgueiros, are not bothered when botam focinheiras nas fêmeas, surely between 03 or 04, tie five homens, and commit rape as a male that is a reproducer.
.
◆ They are never disturbed by a government body, or an animal defense entity, when injecting drugs is reserved for us as championship athletes.
.
◆ Galgueiros will never feel bad to abandon the velhos e velhas, the doentes, the broken, the broken and the bruised. This is because we always houveram people who are imported and who bring us homeless.
.
◆ I read the only way to end up with the practice of cruelty that impõem against the greyhounds.

‘Last week we collected 3 Galgos, GRA wants to thanks Tracey Smith for convincing the hunter to sign them over. All three are very skinny and the 2 adults have a lot of wounds and some skin problems.
We were a little bit worried for their blood results, so we went directly to the vet . All 3 got a first medical checkup. The 2 adults are blood tested, the boy is negative for Leish/ Erlichia/ Anaplasma and Filaria the girl also negative for Leish/ Erlichia/ Filaria but positive for Anaplasma. She need a treatment with doxiciclina for 28 days. The puppy, we gave her the name Olivia, got also a checkup. Because she’s also under weight she only received her booster vaccination/ chip/ European passport.
Luckily all 3 are safe now and a new future is waiting for them.

‘I have a sanctuary for oldies but recently I found a dumped galga, highly pregnant and same night mummie delivered 5 gorgeous babies. Unfortunately mum was so severely abused that she passed away and I had to raise them on my own.

‘2nd October was black galgo day. Well, in Scooby we have lots of them. These 3, and they are terrified. They prefer not to look at you because they hope that you´re not really there. They were not born like this, they were born as normal dogs but with abnormal owners. They have turned into nocturnal dogs, only come out at night to eat and take some fresh air, but the day they spend in their doghouse where they feel safe with the others and don´t have to face the cruel world in which they think they live.
This is how they become when they never get love or a friendly word, a compliment, a nice belly rub or good food when they are hungry. No, they only get a big mouth, loud and angry voices, abuse, hunger, mistreatment and in the end, when not killed, they are left to their fate, in the field, a perrera or a shelter and that´s fatal for a sensitive dog like a galgo.
But at least they´re safe in Scooby now and we´ll do anything to make them ¨whole¨again.
Churo, Zarito and Fawini.
Contact Scooby if you can offer a forever home to one of these innocent souls.

‘In Scooby Medina:
Luckily, more and more people are deciding to give a galgo a home, but generally people are looking for “perfect” galgos. Handsome, that they get along with other dogs and cats and that they are not afraid.
There are many galgos, like Hava, who are fearful or shy, but it is only until they are in a quiet place and little by little they trust those people they see every day and see that they are not going to hurt them.
These galgos also deserve a family that loves them and a comfortable home and they need it more than the other ones, since they have a bit of a hard time in the shelter.
If you want to adopt Hava or some other shy galguito (there are many waiting), send us an email to internationaladoptions@scoobymedina.org

My galga Carmela was 4 years old when she came to me, terrified of being in the house. It took 2 1/2 years for her to become a ‘normal’ dog, helped by her buddy Sahara who did not have any fear.
