Hi Kathryn, you dont have to be on facebook.to see the weblink, it should open ok for you. Basically, the vet said he didnt think an op would help as the injury probably happened in the first couple of weeks of Polars life. So today Im off for a second opinion with a vet in Poitiers, who also teaches at the university veterinary hospital. and will do a longer update tonight. Thanks for caring.

Actually, it doesn’t work if you’re not on FB. The link you posted Beryl simply opens the Facebook sign-up page and says that we need to connect to see the content. Didn’t you say that your French vet was a woman and that she was very good at putting legs back together? Because you said “he” for this vet, so I was wondering…

Hi Danielle, yes, my usual canine vet is female, trained in Canada. However she does not deal with bone problems such as Polar has. So she referred me to the vet in the practice who does specialise in bones and he is male, and the specialist at the hospital in Poitiers is also male.
