You may remember little Noa, a black galga puppy who was knocked down on the road and both front legs were broken.
Luckily she was found and received excellent veterinary treatment, and has now found a forever home in America.
You can read Noa’s full story on Baas Galgo.

This is wonderful for the little girl !
I hope, that amigosdemilord will find time
soon, to announce this on their website,
so everybody being touched by her sad story,
knows now,that there has been
a Happy End, at least for this dog!
Will the money, being donated until
now, cover all the expenses for those
surgeries in the US ?
There is a point, Ulla, you are right. The organisations who ask for help need to keep up the communication via the sites and forums so that there is a good trust with the people who are trying to help….I dont want to criticise as i know how hard it is to find time when your priorityis the animals, whcih it MUST be…but communication is important too. Good news for Noa though, and lets not forget that that is what really counts!!!
I am always pleased when I can publish the ‘end’ to an appeal for help. I try and find news on the various association and refuge websites, but it is not always easy, especially if they are not in English or French.
It’s very time consuming and, to be honest, I’m now so wrapped up in Galgo News that my other writing is slipping by the wayside!
Anyone got any ‘time seeds’?!

What a happy ending for this little dog..
Just shows the determination and will to live, of these galgos, and a big thank you to all who have helped her and continue to do so…long may it last.
Hi,
of course, it is wonderful, that little
Noa found a happy home!
But the information about her on http://www.amigosdemilord.com is somehow misleading.
First it says, that she has been adopted, then, that she went to a fosterhome in Santander and that financial assistance
is still needed, this on the actual front page with a link to their account.
Now the information, that she went to
the US already on the 16th.
If her new owners need financial assistance, than this should be made
clear, explaining, what kind of treatment
is further needed there. And I am sure,
people will be more than happy to support
her in the future as well.
If there is no financial support needed anymore, than there for sure is another
galgo, whou needs assistance as urgently, as she did.
But people want to know, whom they support!
