Diane Ward is Scooby’s Virtual Adoption and Volunteer Coordinator for North America. She’s organising, on behalf of the Scooby Medina Refuge, an Internet fundraising auction. Here’s what she says.
Hello,
The Scooby Medina Refuge in Spain (www.scoobymedina.org) is proud to announce our first collaboration with Carpe Canem for our newest and first internet fundraising venture! The proceeds of the auction will be used to furnish the new hospital and surgery center and for maintaining and upgrading the Scooby shelter.
We are hoping to make this a remarkable and successful fundraiser, but we can’t do it without your help to make it a success. We are seeking donations for the auction. Items do not have to be greyhound or animal related!

All donations must be received by March 1, 2009. All kinds of donations would be appreciated.travel offers, dinners, art work, clothing, stationary, signage, jewelry, animal items, etc. Please include the value, a description and your name and/or group name of the donating party; this will be a tremendous help in organizing the auction. Our auction will be begin on April 9, 2009.
