It always amazes me where Galgo News reaches. Here is a message I just received from Larisa in Slovenia.
Dear all at Galgo News!
Thank you for being there, thank you that we can read about all helping galgos and greyhounds. We do our best to help them too.
I have one question for you. I care a lot about Noah’s Arc – Registered Animal Charity from Spain. This is a shelter who do so much for helping all injured dogs, and also galgos. A poet, Sheron Reynolds has begun an Easter/Spring Appeal on their behalf.
Thanks to Sharon; she writes. “I have managed to secure matched funding once again for the Easter/Spring Appeal and have once more written what, I believe, is a poignant poem, narrated by Andrew Hurrell (Noah’s ARC) and set to music and published on YouTube. This release is different from those I have done before – it is about Spring & promise and has only pleasant images, see above.
We hope you enjoy it. We hope the outcome of this poem will bring in much needed funds for the sick and injured animals in the care of Noah’s ARC and also highlight this appeal. We need to achieve 2,000 euros once again to qualify for the maximum matched funding which will bring the total to 4,000 euros. So every single euro donated will be DOUBLED! “
Larisa also says she has opened a cause on Facebook: Support Noah’s Arc – Registered Animal Charity
What can I do to help them, to show the world about Noah’s ARC, about two gorgeous English people who live in Murcia and do so much for this shelter, for these injured galgos and other dogs? See the videos created by Andy in support of Noah’s ARC.
I would be so happy if you would help me and them and of course tell me what can I do with this….I would like for the rights of galgos …as they do at Noah’s ARC.
Please help them to be seen at your web site.
Thank you …
Greetings from Slovenia.
