Helping Scooby Medina help the lost dogs of Spain

Pablo, volunteer at Scooby Medina 0309 300Meet Pablo, one of the volunteers with Scooby Medina. Pablo lives in Valladolid, where he is a police officer. In his spare time, his hobby is to train dogs will all kinds of behaviour problems.

Last year he adopted a black Scooby-Cocker Spaniel with a foot problem. Most recently he and his girlfriend adopted the Scooby-Setter Isabella.

Pablo also helps find foster homes for some of the Scooby puppies, giving them the opportunity to start their lives in a ‘real home’.

For the past two years Pablo has been volunteering at Scooby on a weekly basis. He is an easy-going person and he enjoys doing lots of odd jobs around the shelter.

He helps clean the facilities, doing construction work like masonry, plumbing, painting and any other work which improves the facilities at the shelters.

Pable has also taken on another important task for Scooby – he organised the first Galgo Walk in Medina and he also arranged for Scooby’s participation in the annual dog walk in Valladolid. Read about the walks on the Scooby website.

Pablo is a great help, willing to do anything, and does his utmost to help maintain the shelter as well as promote the work which Scooby does.
