This is the happy ending for two galgas, Sari and Jara, rescued from Spain by L’Europe de Levriers and rehomed together in France.
Sari only has 3 legs, you can read her story here. She now has a wonderful home with Gigi and Freddy and their two little dogs, a Yorkshire Terrier and a Chihauhua.
Gigi says, ‘Sari is amazingly fast on 3 legs, and spends her time eating and sleeping on the sofa with Jara.
Jara is an elderly lady who was obviously used for breeding, which caused health problems – she is on daily medication for her heart. We originally took her to foster, but she won our hearts and we are so happy she is going to spend the rest of her days with us. Earlier in the year she developed a lump on her chest and had an operation to remove a pre-cancerous tumour.
She and Sari are the best of friends, sharing the sofa to watch TV whilst Freddy and I have to sit on the hard chairs!
