I’d like to introduce you to Podenco Rescue. It’s a brand new website dedicated just to these fantastic dogs, who also suffer horrendously at the hands of the Spanish hunters, both on mainland Spain and the Spanish Islands.
It’s great news for the Podencos, hopefully they will get a much higher profile, and Podenco Rescue will be searching for homes for podencos in any shelter and with any association, wherever they are.
So if you want to know more, visit the website, they also have a Facebook page, and contact them if you either have a podenco looking for a home, can foster a podenco or even adopt one.
And you will find my foster dog Darin on the website. He’s an absolute poppet, a truly golden boy and really deserves a family who can give him the exercise and attention which is his due.
