This is what Silvia says. ‘Sofie is more active, she wants to eat by herself, and can manage it but, because the iron rod holding her lower jaw in place gets dirty, which could cause infection in her jaw, the vet has decided to feed her via her neck again. More trustful and sweet,Sofie is waiting for another operation; she needs a bone in the jaw which the vet will take from her ribs.’
What an amazingly brave galga, and what an amazing vet to be able to do all this work on her. But how tragic that it was completely unnecessary, if the b…..d who kicked her in the mouth had, instead, taken her to a shelter and place of safety.
