Do you remember Esperanza – starved, badly beaten and left for dead in a rubbish skip by her bloody owner. Well, she beat the bastard, she didn’t die – and one year on you can see a video of her here, safe, loved and taking life steadily.

This beautiful girl makes me cry every time I see her. Her courage in fighting for her life and recovery has been so humbling…..bless you Esperanza you are an inspiration to those who love and respect animals.xx

What a brave girl to have fought back from that horror. She looks like she still has some way to go, but having fought her way back this far, she will make it the rest of the way. I felt so sad to see her after a year, moving so slowly and stiffly, which goes to show what a vicious attack she suffered. Shocking, what so-called humans are capable of! It makes me feel murderous.

Thank God for the angels who rescued her and nursed her back to life!! And so many others. I have so much admiration for you all.
