Update on the Calasparra galga

Update on the Calasparra galga from Lesley. ‘Firstly, Andrea/Alice is very happy. She is probably a lot more relaxed in the knowledge that she is safe and that someone is loving her and looking after her needs at long last. She is on two tablets a day at present but, as yet, she cannot have the injections for the leishmania as she had quite severe liver damage. She is receiving treatment for it and is due to have another blood test soon to see how well things are improving.

Her skin is looking much better and her sores are starting to heal. Andres, the man who was feeding her whilst she was living in the car park of the restaurant, and who helped to rescue her, has already been to see her. She recognised him straight away and went up to him for a fuss. I have also promised to take the person who alerted us to her plight, to visit her to see how she is improving.’
