Had an interesting evening last night, whilst trying to rescue an abandoned young dog, in the next village to where I live in France. The female ‘owner’ arrived, became aggressive, punched me in the face and threw a very heavy metal object at me – which luckily missed – but all that was because I was taking pix of her!! She didn’t get my camera though! Sadly, she grabbed the dog, dumped him in her car and drove off fast.

Hi Ines, Its not a galgo, a little xbreed collie. We are trying with the help of an associatiyl to track this woman down, because of her assault on me. Fingers crossed. Beryl

Thanks Jaqui. Stiff neck from my head going
back from the blow, but nothing broken. Just keep thinking about the dog
and not being able to save it from her. Goodness knows where she will keep
