Galgos France bringing dogs for rehoming

Over the weekend of 23/24 February, Galgos France journeyed to Spain to bring back some galgos and other rescued hounds for rehoming in France. Photos here

With so many rescue associations in France, and with France having its own abandoned animal problem, I hear that it is getting harder to find adoptants for the galgos being brought out – seems to be a rescue every week.

Most galgo rescues in France will not let their dogs be rehomed in Canada or the US. At some point though, I don’t think they’ll have a choice. They could collaborate with US associations, like GRIN, to rehome their dogs with responsible people.

Have an ‘entire’ bearded collie, though he is old.
Have a cat also old but who runs the house.
I could not hurt in any way these ‘persons of my household’
Though I would like to take all the dogs, I have to stipulate: female, ok with cats and dogs; typical greyhound-type shape. female. hopefully not too old!
