Happy ending for an Argentinian galgo

Recently a teacher in New Mexico contacted me about my book on the Spanish Galgo as she wishes to use it with her class of children. She herself has a galgo and you can read the story of it’s rescue and rehoming here. I’ve asked for some photos.

Thank you for that story. It is nice to read about a happy ending. I didn’t know about the Argentinian galgos.

Judy Paulsen is a wonderful greyhound rescuer and is not afraid to speak her mind about the plight of greyhounds. She is also now involved in helping galgos and podencos! The greyhound she rescued is most likely one bred for hunting coyotes, in particular, in New Mexico, USA. Unfortunately, it is not uncommon in the American Southwest and Midwest.
