Don Quixote – rescued, rehabilitated and now looking for his forever home. Irene Allan writes.
‘We took in a galgo in January 2014 which was on the street and he was in a very bad condition with Leishmanaiosis and a couple of large bullet wounds also. He has been in foster since then and has had all his treatment and the best of food and care.He has turned the corner and not the terrified boy when we got him.His last leish blood tests were last week (end March 2014) and were good. He is negative for ehrichlea and heartworm These are some before and one after Don Quixote, about 4 years old.
