Those men are cruel, sadistic and extremely cowardly. It’s unimaginable that any sane person would take any pleasure out of making another living being suffer, whether it’s “tradition” or not. It’s a disgrace.

It is very difficult to imagine the mindset of the people who stood by and watched this as if it’s some kind of ‘fun’ day out. “Oh I know instead of a family day out at Alton Towers lets take the kids to watch an animal being tortured for fun. What a great day out for all the family, there will be scenes of torture, screams, lots of blood and to top it all it will teach the kids that it’s OK to spear an animal to death, terrorise it and watch it die slowly in great pain”. Oh it’s in the name of culture and tradition? Perhaps we should bring back bear baiting then for the next Spring bank holiday or as a festive treat for the masses. It’s just an excuse for a load of inadequate men to feel all macho and like a ‘hero’. Pathetic imbeciles the lot of them. Good on the brave protestors and the caring Spanish people, all 45,000 of them who marched against this. It has got to end soon, these people who support this festival not only make people feel disgusted but I think they are an object of ridicule with all their’macho’ posturing. They look so pathetically pleased with themselves after killing an animal that stood no chance and had never done any harm to anyone.
Why these perverts do not take one of THEMSELVES and torture him to death? Then there would be one less sadist on Earth.
Oh but I forgot, they are cowards… afraid of the consequences… therefore an animal must suffer. Disgusting.
The Toro de la Vega “tradition” is a shame for mankind.
