Justice for Galgas Nanou and Lulu in Spain – sign the petition

You may remember a post a few days ago about 2 pet galgos murdered by galgueros as retribution to the owner for speaking out against them.  There is understandably a groundswell of anger against the situation and a petition has been raised to demand justice and prosecution against the perpetrators.  Please sign and share.

From the organiser.  ‘Please sign the following petition, to help a friend of mine, who has been severely punished by local hunters (in Southern Spain) for having been brave enough to break a tradition of unpunished tyranny from the part of the head of the hunters’ tight community. Her punishment was to find one of her Spanish Greyhounds (galga) hung from an olive tree behind her house…and been told by the vet that the animal had been previously frozen and kept somewhere…

A horrendous CRIME that cannot fall into oblivion…just as so many galgo’s deaths do every year…This is not only death…but murder made worse by psychological torture and deliberate sadism.

Je vous invite à signer cette pétition, écrite en support à une amie, qui a perdu deux de ses chiennes (et une troisième qui est toujours ‘disparue’) aux mains de barbares d’un village de l’Andalousie profonde, aux traditions dignes du Moyen-Âge. La première fut tuée par les chiens d’un chasseur, ce qui fut dénoncé…déclenchant la colère du président de la réserve de chasse locale…véritable ‘parrain’, n’ayant rien à envier à ceux de la Sicile…Résultat: pendaison de sa galga Nanou à un olivier derrière sa maison…

La pétition ne fera pas revenir Nanou…ni Lulu, ni Olga…mais elle pourrait aider à ce que JUSTICE SOIT FAITE…

Amigos de Facebook… Os ruego firmar esta petición escrita por mi y presentada por FADEA (Federación Andaluza Defensa Animal) para pedir JUSTICIA por el HORRIBLE ASESINATO de una de las galgas de una gran amiga mía. Le mataron a Nanou por haber osado poner una denuncia a un cazador…en el pueblo de Alcaucin, Málaga, donde parece existir una auténtica MAFIA, actuando como un escudo bajo el cual se pretiende seguir con una tradición de corrupción y soborno. Firmar para decir BASTA YA DE IMPUNIDAD PARA LOS MALTRATADORES.

Gracias en nombre de Nanou, Lulú, Olga (que sigue ‘desaparecida’) y de su madre humana.

Ich lade Sie ein, diese Petition zu unterzeichnen zur Unterstützung einer Freundin in Spanien, die zwei Hunde verlor (der dritte, Olga, fehlt noch ”), getoetet von Barbaren in einem Dorf im tiefen Andalusien, würdig der mittelalterlichen Traditionen. Die erste wurde getötet durch Jagdhunde, was denunziert wurde und den Zorn des Präsidenten des lokalen Jagd Reservats hervorruf, mit dem Ergebnis, dass die Galga mit dem Namen Nanou an einem Olivenbaum hinter dem Haus aufgehaengt wurde.

Diese Petition wird nicht -Nanou…, Lulu oder Olga…zurueckbringen aber es könnte dazu beitragen, dass Gerechtigkeit geschieht und die Taeter gefasst werden. VIELEN DANK
