The situation for Spain’s hunting dogs does not change…the galgueros refuse to implement control of breeding and stopping abandonment at the end of hunting. Here Scooby writes.

And it is that the situation, far from being solved, is worsening year after year. The problem after each hunting season has been reported in recent years, but nothing has improved. In fact, we could say that the hunters are still abandoning and killing the same or more than before.

That is why we ask the citizens to co-operate and denounce those who commit these atrocities, and we are sure that in the local communities everyone knows who owns these animals which are found dead or abandoned.

We also call on the security forces to pay more attention to animal abuse because this type of act must not go unpunished.
