From the Protectora Herencia, Qualidice, we have been informed that last Friday a citizen of our town while walking her dog heard breathing something inside a container. With the fright in the body I notice two boys to immediately see what was there, one of the boys got inside and rescued a galgo inside a sack.
Of course you have to have little heart to treat a poor animal like that, which was in a bag and in a sorry state.
After checking that there were no more possible animals and just before passing the garbage truck they were able to rescue him. Thanks to the collaboration of these citizens this young galgo has an opportunity. Now he has to eat a lot to recover his strength and improve his status in the Heritage Protector.
We hope that this type of situations will not be repeated and that, of course, those who mistreat the animals will be persecuted.
