The Blue Cross Charity want the law changed for stray section 1 dogs. They contacted David Rutley MP, ministerwith responsibility for animal welface and invited the minister to meet with us to discuss how the law could change to make it legal for Blue Cross and other rescue charities to find loving new homes for stray section 1 dogs. We are also continuing to meet with MPs and Lords from all parties to ask them to back our campaign in both houses of parliament.
To help us continue to push for a repeal of breed-specific legislation, if you have not already done so, we ask you to write to your local MP and make them aware of this unfair law. We have a letter template on our website, as well as tips about how to personalise your letter.
