I’ve had an appeal for help for this small rescue shelter in Almeria. They have several hounds at the moment needing vet treatment and struggle to raise funds for this. Please take a look at their website and help if you can. Below is a recent arrival desperately needing help.
Gitana – this fragile girl arrived at GRA. This girls is under weight ( barely 15kg ) and have some wounds. Unfortunately Gitana tested positive for Leish and Erlichia. A treatment with doxiciclina has been started to treat her Erlichia and for her Leish she is going to need Leishguard, Allopurinol and Milteforan. It’s going to take some while before this fragile girl is ready to go to a new family.
In the meanwhile she is going to get all the treatments necessary to control her Leish. Also she is going to need special food to gain weight. And lots of love to pull her true.
