‘We’ve just brought four new galgas from the municipal dog pound of Valladolid. Meet Arena, Lluvia, Risca and Reina. They are young, between 8 months and 3 years old. Although handed over by the galguero following the required procedures, which is obviously better then throwing them over the fence or leaving them to their fate somewhere, they still add to the number of abandoned dogs. They’re getting familiar with their new place and their new friends, and besides being beautiful they’re lovely, affectionate dogs. It goes without saying that they are all looking for a family who will love and look after them.’
