One of the very first stories I ran when I started Galgo News back in 2008 was about Ruso, a galgo left in a Spanish shelter where a English volunteer, Tina Solera, helped out. She contacted me and together we started on a journey which culminated in her opening her first shelter and the formation of Galgos del Sol. She is now one of the most widely known workers in galgo rescue in Murcia.
