No end to the abandonment of hunting dogs and it’s not yet the end of the hunting season in Spain!!
Galgos Rescue Almeria were alerted to these 3 abandoned souls and asked to take them if they could be caught.
People with a big heart for animals tried a few hours to gain their trust. Unfortunately they only saw 2 of them.
After some time they managed to save both ( one male / one female ). Hopefully the third one can also been saved, fingers crossed
Two of the three galgos who were wondering around in El Ejido area are safe now at GRA. First of all many thanks Nathalie and Patrick for not giving up on them and to bring them to our shelter. The nights are getting colder and it’s a very dangerous area so hopefully the third one shows up again and can be also be brought to safety.
Both galgos don’t have microchip and are lucky in not so bad condition. In a few days they will get a full checkup and receive a bloodtest, vaccinations, passport.
All help is welcome to cover their medical costs.
