This was written for the thousands English and Irish greyhounds but it is just as appropriate for the hundreds of thousands of galgos who have suffered and still suffer at the hands of the bastard galgueros.
IN MEMORY
This weekend marks the anniversary when British commercial greyhound began in 1926. For 95 years greyhounds have been overbred and culled – cruelly abused and destroyed for the sake of a bet. Over one million greyhounds bred for British racing will have died at the hands of the murderous gambling industry. Please hold in your thoughts those innocent souls – many of whose fates were sealed once they were born a racing greyhound…..may they all rest gently in peace
